In the sun-drenched south of France lie the beautiful vineyards of Les 5 Vallées. The winery has chosen to plant its vineyards in five different valleys, hence the name Les 5 Vallées. The average age of the vines is now 25 years, which explains the excellent quality of the Sauvignon Blanc bunches. The climate is perfect, with abundant sunshine contributing to the ripening of the Sauvignon Blanc bunches. The fresh breeze and cool nighttime temperatures ensure a very gradual ripening process, allowing the Sauvignon Blanc grapes to retain their freshness.

The harvest of the Sauvignon Blanc

Once the Sauvignon Blanc grapes have reached the desired ripeness, they are harvested early in the morning to prevent oxidation and damage to the bunches. The grapes are transported in small crates to Les 5 Vallées, where they await a gentle pressing. After pressing, this white wine matures on the lees for three months, which brings out its strength and suppleness. Now the wine is ready to be enjoyed, and that's a real treat.

The aroma and taste of the Les 5 Vallees Sauvignon Blanc

It all starts with this wine's beautiful, light color, typical of a Sauvignon Blanc. It's a light yellow with green highlights. As soon as the bottle is opened, we smell a vibrant aroma of green pepper, limegrass, and a hint of freshly mown grass. The taste is wonderfully crisp, elegant, and refreshing, with a good balance between freshness and ripeness. Les 5 Vallées Sauvignon Blanc is a delightfully refreshing white wine and, for this price, an excellent choice.
