This white Vendanges Nocturnes is made by Laurent Miquel, a young, talented winemaker from the Languedoc. The Miequel family has been producing wine here since 1791. The grapes are grown in the commune of Cessenon in the southern part of the Saint-Chinian region at an altitude of 100-200 meters. The soil is clay-limestone, and the vineyard covers eight hectares. This, combined with the warm climate, produces beautifully ripe grapes of varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache.

This white wine is made from 70% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, then supplemented with 20% Colombard and 10% Grenache Blanc. Laurent Miquel keeps winemaking simple, as it was meant to be.
