The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Woodbridge wines were developed by none other than the pioneer of Californian viticulture, Robert Mondavi. This man has been indispensable to California's winemaking. Thanks to his innovations and vision, California wines are among the world's finest. He created iconic wines, and wine connoisseurs queue up for them. However, he also wanted to develop quality wines at an affordable price. That's why he developed Woodbridge wines, which have proven incredibly popular with international wine drinkers.

The talented Robert Mondavi has shown his true potential with Woodbridge wines: simply making delicious, top-notch wines. It all began in 1966, when Robert Mondavi founded his winery in Napa Valley. For decades, Mondavi has shaken up the California wine world. His innovations are now used throughout California. Thanks to his experience, Robert Mondavi owns numerous vineyards. The Woodbridge vineyards are located near Lodi, a major wine city east of San Francisco.

Robert Mondavi is known for his robust, distinctive wines. Woodbridge is a friendlier, more enjoyable alternative to the powerful oak-aged Chardonnay. A balanced wine, encompassing all the elements of a perfect wine. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring only the finest bunches are used in this spectacular white wine. After harvesting, the beautiful juice is aged for several months in oak. This gives the wine considerable depth, while still retaining fruity notes such as pineapple and mango. The aroma also boasts wild notes of cinnamon, mint, and vanilla. The taste is creamy and fruity, with a slightly spicy undertone. You'll taste apricots, lychee, and pineapple, as well as yellow cream and vanilla. A successful Chardonnay from pioneer Robert Mondavi.
