Drostdy-Hof's rich history, dating back to 1804 and once a courthouse near Tulbagh, South Africa, is now a custodian of timeless wines. The Chardonnay grapes, sourced from Stellenbosch, Malmesbury, and Robertson, are hand-harvested to ensure the wine's quality and integrity. This pale yellow, fresh-fruited Chardonnay is a 100% expression of Chardonnay grapes, known for their vibrancy and fruity aromas.
The Drostdy Hof Chardonnay benefits from the cooling influences of the sea, resulting in a wine that retains its fruity aromas and acidity. This Chardonnay is a fragrant celebration with hints of citrus, ripe pineapple, mango, and a hint of vanilla. Creamy, rounded, and with a soft, spicy finish, it's a versatile wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. From spicy cheeses and spicy snacks to light meals such as hearty salads, fried fish, and chicken in light sauces, this Chardonnay is a wonderful accompaniment.
Drostdy Hof Chardonnay isn't just a drink; it's an experience, an enrichment for every meal and every moment of conviviality. Combining centuries-old winemaking traditions with the dynamic spirit of South Africa, this wine offers a flavor that will surprise and delight both the seasoned wine connoisseur and the casual drinker. Let yourself be swept away by the charm of Drostdy Hof Chardonnay, a wine that makes every moment special.
