We can no longer imagine our La Villette winery without it. This La Villette Viognier is no exception. The name La Villette has a fascinating history. La Villette is an old Parisian neighborhood from which all of Paris was once supplied with wine and food. This was done by boat or horse-drawn carriage. The label of this wine bottle also refers to this. The river on which the boats sailed with supplies is depicted on the label. La Villette wines are made using the Vin de France label. This means that grapes from different regions may be blended together. La Villette Viognier is made from 100% Viognier grapes. The vineyards for this delicious white wine come from the Hérault department in the south of the Minervois region. This delightful Viognier even undergoes a light oak aging.

La Villette Viognier completes the La Villette wine list! The beautifully refined style is recognizable in all La Villette wines. The warm growing region gives the grapes ample opportunity to develop optimally. This results in a beautiful golden yellow color. The aroma reveals the true aromas of a Viognier. Hints of apricot and peach predominate, along with lovely floral notes. The palate is mild and rich with refined nuances of banana, peach, acacia blossoms, and lavender. The finish is sultry, smooth, and pleasantly long. Don't drink this wine too cold to fully appreciate all its beautiful flavors!
