The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

This is a delightful, refined wine to truly savor. The Albert Bichot Puligny Montrachet comes from the beautiful vineyards in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, where Chardonnay grapes can develop exceptionally well. From its soft aromas to its refreshing flavors, this wine is an absolute must-try for any wine lover.

Albert Bichot Winery has been active in the wine world since 1831. Founded by Bernard Bichot, the company has developed over time into a world-class family business. Located in the historic center of Beaune, the winery owns approximately 100 hectares of vineyards, from which it produces cutting-edge products. The company is known for its innovative approach in both the vineyard and the cellar, employing organic and sustainable methods. All this to beautifully showcase the unique terroir in its wines. The range includes a wide variety of wines. The grapes for this Albert Bichot Puligny Montrachet come from the central part of the Côte de Beaune. The wine region borders Meursault, and the soil here consists of calcareous clay with local marl. The grapes are selectively harvested and fermented in oak barrels at the winery for six weeks. The wine is then aged in 100% oak barrels for 14 to 16 months. This gives the wine its characteristic flavor.

The nose reveals subtle aromas of dried fruit like raisins and apricots, complemented by notes of almond and candied fruit. A refined yet complex aroma that invites you to take the first sip. The well-structured, beautifully balanced flavor is immediately noticeable. The fruity aroma is also beautifully present. Peach and citrus fruit alternate in the flavor. The fresh acidity adds a pleasant tang to the fruity notes. This wine is perfect for pairing with fish dishes or white meat.
