The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

The basis for this refreshing white wine is none other than Pinot Grigio. This white grape is inextricably linked to Italian wines. It has been found throughout Italy for centuries: from Veneto in the north to Puglia in the south. And time and again, it produces exquisite wines. This grape is also widely planted in authentic Abruzzo, and for good reason. With a slightly Mediterranean climate, small, picturesque villages, and a hilly landscape, this Italian province exudes the real Italy. It's no wonder that Dutch emigrating often choose this province in central Italy.

The Rube Pinot Grigio vineyards are located in Terre di Chieti, in the southern part of Abruzzo, in the province of Chieti. This region is known for its excellent wines. While not as good as those from Piedmont or Tuscany, they are known for their excellent value. This Pinot Grigio is no exception, being exceptionally pure and flavorful. You get more than your money's worth. Therefore, our vinologists recommend a glass of Rube Pinot Grigio Terre di Chieti this year to enjoy in the summer sun.

As soon as you unscrew the cap of this Italian white wine, your nose is immediately treated to a treat. A vibrant bouquet rises almost immediately from your glass. You'll smell fresh lime, fragrant apple, and ripe pear. A summery note of nectarine will bring a smile to your face. The palate is fruity, but with a refreshing bitterness in the finish. This makes this Rube Pinot Grigio Terre di Chieti a perfect aperitif wine.
