Van Volxem Winery isn't technically located on the Mosel River, but on its famous tributary, the Saar. In the van Volxem vineyards, only one grape dominates: the Riesling. This German star has been bringing joy to many people's faces for years. The Reisling can produce sweet and penetrating wines. However, because the Mosel region's climate is exceptionally cool, the Riesling needs a considerable amount of time to mature properly. During this time, this distinctive grape develops soft acidity and aromas. The result is an open and sensational wine, completely devoid of the sweetness typical of a German Riesling.
