Poggio del Sole wines, made by Filippo Baccalaro, are typical of the terroir. The wines are presented with great style! The soil consists primarily of clay and limestone and has a reddish-brown color called "terra rossa." The vineyards are situated 100 meters above sea level. Thanks to the warm climate in which the grapes for Poggio del Sole grow, the wines produced are wonderfully full-bodied and sultry. Both the red and white Poggio del Sole wines are excellent as house wines or wines for a party or a delicious barbecue.
