The year 2016 was outstanding for white wines from Trentino-Alto Adige with a score of 95 points. The wines are of very high quality and are currently ready to be enjoyed.

The Italian wine region of Trentino-Alto Adige is often considered Italy's finest and most unique, boasting centuries of history and a diverse range of influences stemming from its proximity to Germanic countries, as well as places like Lombardy and Venice. Rotari Winery excels at harnessing the unique influences of this region. Thanks to the excellent climate and soil structure, they produce exceptional wines of exceptional quality.

Aromatic and elegant Rotari wines

Rotari was born in the heart of the Dolomites. The mountain climate, the special care of the vineyards, the dedication of the winemaker, and the manual selection of the grapes are the ingredients for Rotari's high-quality wines. All Rotari wines are characterized by a unique style: fresh, fragrant, and elegant, with the ability to be ideal pairings for both Italian and international cuisine. Rotari Flavio was founded in memory of the Lombard King Rotari, who historically assumed the honorary title "Flavio," recalling the prestige of the Roman and Byzantine empires. At the foot of the Dolomites, where Chardonnay best expresses its fresh and fruity character, Rotari Flavio is a special Riserva produced with the purity of grapes, hand-selected and harvested from the hills at an altitude of 1,100 feet north of Trentino. Rotari Flavio is a Metodo Classico wine produced exclusively with Chardonnay. The long secondary fermentation and refinement that takes place in the bottle, according to the Metodo Classico, related to the Trento DOC discipline, gives Rotari Flavio characteristics of uniqueness and remarkable value. During this minimum five-year fermentation period, the yeasts give Rotari Flavio excellent structure and aromatic notes that are persistent and balanced.

An elegant sparkling Italian wine made from Chardonnay. With a golden yellow color and an intriguing, complex aroma revealing hazelnut, fresh bread, citrus, apricot, peach, and white flowers. The palate is full and rich, with notes of yeast and honey. Delicate and with a long finish.
