Dopff Au Moulin, a historic family winery, has had its roots deep in the fertile soil of Alsace since 1574. Founded by the visionary Dopff family, this winery has preserved its heritage and traditions through the centuries, making it one of the most respected and oldest family wineries in the world. As a true ambassador of Alsace, Dopff Au Moulin has developed unparalleled expertise in viticulture. Around 1900, Julien Dopff revolutionized the wine world by producing the very first Alsace sparkling wine using the "methode traditionelle," inspired by his experiences in Reims (Champagne). This innovation led to the birth of what we now know as "Crémant d'Alsace." Furthermore, Dopff Au Moulin introduced the signature tall, slender bottle that is now synonymous with Alsace wines. Their red Pinot Noir, housed in this iconic bottle, is one of the jewels of their range.
