Deutz Brut 'Cuvée William Deutz' 2013 in gift box

Champagne Deutz's flagship cuvée, created in homage to founder William Deutz. The style is refined and complex, with a crystal-clear color and layers that unfold beautifully in the glass. What makes Cuvée William Deutz special? Only grapes from top vineyards and the highest quality are selected for this cuvée, resulting in a rare combination of finesse, elegance, and depth.

Vineyards and region

The wine comes from France, Champagne, with the house located in Aÿ. Champagne Deutz is one of the oldest members of the Syndicat des Grandes Marques. The house style revolves around a harmony of finesse, elegance, and complexity, a signature found on the menus of top restaurants worldwide.

Vinification and maturation

As a prestige champagne, Cuvée William Deutz is blended exclusively from select crus and released only in strong vintages. The vinification is classic Champenois, focused on precision and aging potential, allowing the wine to develop its richness in the bottle. Best served at 8–10°C.

Tasting notes and serving suggestions

Pale yellow and crystal clear. Rich, complex nose with baked apple, subtle hints of ginger and nutmeg, and delicate raisin aromas. Fresh onset, followed by great finesse and a long, flavorful finish. Perfect as a stylish aperitif and brilliant at the table with foie gras, caviar, lobster, delicately grilled fish in a light sauce, white meat with exotic spices, sushi, and other Asian dishes. Serve at 8–10°C.
