Buying or ordering Château Val Joanis wine
Luberon is a mountainous region in the French departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Vaucluse; an east-west spur of the Alps. This area is approximately sixty kilometres long and five kilometres wide and is divided into "Grand Luberon" and "Petit Luberon". At the foot of the Grand Luberon, north of Aix-en-Provence, lies Château Val Joanis. Spread over 400 hectares of lush and pristine protected nature. The 100 hectares of vineyards are located on clayey limestone and benefit from the warm sunny days and cool nights of this part of Provence. The nature of the soil and the very favourable climate ensure that Val Joanis can produce powerful elegant wines and a fruity rosé based on Syrah and Grenache. The cellars have a storage facility for wooden barrels, as well as modern and sophisticated wine equipment.
