Chateau Roubine in the Cotes de Provence

This château is located in the heart of Provence, in the town of Var, relatively close to the Mediterranean coast. The château's location is practically perfect. Its origins go back a long way. Founded in 1307, Château Roubine is one of the oldest wine estates in Provence. For over 700 years, they have been renowned for their sublime, flawless wines. Their centuries-old expertise was rewarded in 1953 with a Cru Classe designation, which Château Roubine proudly bears.

As you drive towards the gates of the Chateau, you're in for a pleasant surprise. A massive 130-hectare estate looms before you. Only 72 hectares are actually occupied by vineyards. As you drive past, you see valleys with hundreds of vines, surrounded by countless pine and deciduous trees. The whole thing feels somewhat idyllic.

The strength of Château Roubine lies in its Provence Rosé. Its rosé wines enjoy a certain prestige worldwide, which they maintain year after year. However, Château Roubine also produces a magnificent white wine. The Château Roubine Lion & Dragon Blanc is a distinctive white wine, a blend of Grenache Blanc and Semillon. With this oak-aged white wine, Château Roubine demonstrates its long-standing reputation in the Côtes de Provence region.

Our flagship wine is Roubine La Vie en Rose. This beloved wine arrives in our warehouse every year with great excitement, because we're so crazy about it. Fortunately, Chateau Roubine also produces large bottles of this rosé: a Magnum and a Jereboam. These are a whopping one and a half liters and three liters of Roubine La Vie en Rose, respectively. This means you can enjoy this delicious Cotes de Provence Rosé even more.
