The champagne house is named after Florens de Castellane, who settled in 1895 in Epernay, about a twenty-minute drive south of Reims. Champagne Castellane quickly proved to be a hit. During the Belle Époque, De Castellane Champagne became the most consumed champagne in Paris, then the economic, financial, and cultural center of the world. De Castellane Champagnes had truly established themselves.

The style of Castellane Champagne

The Champagnes of De Castellane

Castellane offers several leading champagnes. First and foremost, the regular Champagne de Castellane Brut and Champagne de Castellane Demi-Sec. The latter is a slightly sweeter version. The Champagne house also has a delicious Rosé. In our opinion, the Castellane Commodore is truly the cream of the crop. This Champagne has a slightly higher percentage of Chardonnay, and the grapes are sourced from the oldest vines. This ensures exceptionally high quality.
