The vineyards are located in the southern part of the island.
- Location / origin: Serdiana, north of Cagliari on Sardinia. The wine falls under the Nasco di Cagliari DOC designation of origin.
- Soil: Marl and limestone form the subsoil of the vineyards.
- Vineyards: The Iselis estate is located near Sibiola, close to the ancient church of Santa Maria.
Gentle processing and contact with the lees build up the round structure.
- Pressing & fermentation: The grapes undergo cold skin maceration and are pressed gently. After natural settling, the juice ferments at a controlled temperature; a small portion ferments in French oak barrels.
- Maturation: The wine remains on the fine lees. This contact provides extra roundness and supports the broad mouthfeel.
A local grape defines the aromatic character of this blend.
- Nasco – Serdiana, Sardinia: The main grape gives the wine its floral scent, ripe fruit, and full texture.
- Vermentino – Sardinia: A small addition that adds freshness to the blend.
