Quality wines from Salentijn

Salentijn is located in Mendoza, a province in Argentina synonymous with wine. It was founded in 1997 by Dutch businessman and visionary Mijndert Pon. Here, they work with great passion to achieve the highest quality. Thanks to its temperate climate, it is one of the most suitable regions for producing superb wines. Salentijn's wines regularly receive top awards, with the Portillo Malbec receiving the highest distinction. This Cuvée Exceptionnelle is made from 75 percent Chardonnay and 25 percent Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes originate from the El Oasis Estate vineyards, situated at an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level. Thanks to this altitude, the vineyards enjoy sunny weather during the day and the cool breeze of the magnificent Andes Mountains at night. At optimal ripeness, the grapes are carefully harvested and brought to the winery. The grape varieties are fermented separately at low temperatures, allowing the grapes to retain their fresh character. The second fermentation takes place according to the Charmat Method. The sediment from the second fermentation remains in the tanks and forms the basis for six months of sur lie aging, giving this Cuvée its characteristic toasted aroma.

The fruity character of Salentein Sparkling Cuvee Exceptionnelle Brut Rose MAGNUM

This Salentein shines bright golden yellow in the glass with a beautiful sheen typical of Pinot Noir. Upon pouring, the delicious aromas of green apple and citrus fruit, with a hint of toasted bread, are immediately released. The fruity character returns on the palate, with a fine and persistent effervescence on the finish. Because of its elegance, this Cuvée Brut is also a perfect pairing with fish and seafood.
