MVSA's old vineyards for this rosé lie in the heart of the Penedes wine region. They use primarily Garnacha grapes, supplemented with Terpat grapes. These two grape varieties are ideally suited for producing a fresh and very smooth rosé cava, and MVSA fortunately has a large number of vineyards at its disposal. The climate in Penedes is perfect for producing sparkling wines; abundant sunshine and plenty of cool weather ensure a peaceful growing season. This coolness comes from the sea breeze that blows through the vineyards, providing just the right amount of relief during hot summer days.
