Vintage Report

De jaargang 2023 voor Chili ontving een uitstekende score van 96 op de Parker-schaal. Dit wijst op een uitzonderlijk jaar met wijnen die van hoge kwaliteit zijn en al op jonge leeftijd gedronken kunnen worden.
This Sauvignon Blanc is clearly from the New World; one part tropical, the other greenish. Production is handled by the Santa Helena family business, which has been crafting quality wines for over 70 years. The grapes are sourced from vineyards in Central Valley. Thanks to the optimal soil and climate, this Sauvignon Blanc is exceptionally good.

Quality wines from Santa Helena for 75 years

Founded in 1942, Viña Santa Helena has over 75 years of history. The winery is located in the Central Valley, Chile's most emblematic valley. The quality of a wine begins in the vineyard, and for this reason, our attention and energy are primarily focused on sustainable, land-based practices in all our agricultural processes. The Central Valley boasts optimal natural climate and soil conditions, ensuring perfect fertility for high-quality wine production, which is reflected in our diverse ranges. The grapes are harvested mechanically at night. Once they arrive at the cellar, they are immediately processed. The grapes macerate at low temperatures for 4 to 6 hours. They then go to the pneumatic press. Fermentation takes place for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures below 14°C (57°F) to develop the citrus aromas and fresh character of the grape variety.

The exotic aromas of Sante Helena Sauvignon Blanc

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc has a pale yellow color in the glass. Upon pouring, it immediately releases delicious aromas of ripe exotic fruits like mango and pineapple, along with the freshness of apples, citrus, and a touch of soft spice. It's a fresh wine with balanced acidity, bringing a fruity sensation to the palate. It has a long, pleasant finish.
