For years, the Cantina Tramin Kellerei winery has been a major player in the South Tyrol/Alto Adige wine region of Italy. Winemaker Willi Stürz has made Cantina Tramin Kellerei a major force in recent years. He has a unique knack for hitting the mark and has invested heavily in the modern winery and, of course, in the vineyards of no fewer than three hundred winegrowers. Cantina Tramin Kellerei is a cooperative with approximately three hundred winegrowers. This wealth of experience is evident, and you can taste it in, among other things, this white Moriz Pinot Bianco.
The harvest of the Pinot Bianco wine
Pinot Bianco is grown in one of the highest vineyards, at an altitude of six hundred meters. This altitude is crucial for this Pinot Bianco because it thrives in a cool climate. During the growing season, there's plenty of sunshine, but also plenty of coolness from both the wind and the falling nighttime temperatures. The difference between day and night temperatures can reach as much as twenty degrees Celsius. The rich soil structure, in which the roots of the Pinot Bianco vines grow, is also crucial. This consists primarily of calcareous gravel and loam. Everything is perfectly coordinated, resulting in a truly magnificent harvest, and that's what makes the Cantina Tramin Kellerei shine. The aroma and taste of the Tramin Moriz Pinot Bianco
The fun begins the moment you open the bottle, as the cap is removed, revealing hints of green apple, citrus peel, a touch of minerality, and freshly cut grass. Pouring reveals a beautiful light color with a green sheen, and the aromas are enhanced. On the palate, we noted nuances of pear, citrus, and dried fruit with light notes of butter. A beautifully full flavor with a pleasant tingle from the wine's fresh notes.Product details
