The best rosé from Miraval winery

The Miraval Provence Rosé is made from organically grown grapes. The wine is a blend of primarily Grenache with a small amount of Cinsault and Syrah. The Miraval Rosé is a very lively rosé with concentrated flavors. The grapes are hand-picked and transported in crates. At the chateau, the grapes are carefully selected and then subjected to a very mild pressing. To give the rosés a creamier texture and character, ten percent of the wine is aged in old wooden barrels. From 1970 until a few years ago, Chateau Miraval belonged to jazz pianist and wine enthusiast Jacques Loussier. He produced the Miraval Rosé under the name Pink Floyd. In 2008, the famous Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie purchased the chateau. The wine cellar dates back to the early nineteenth century, with the wooden barrels resting in the cellar of the renovated farmhouse, which was renovated in 1995. To produce wine and grow grapes, the Hollywood couple enlisted the help of the famous Perrin family; One of the largest and most successful wine families in the world. Here, art and knowledge converge, and that is precisely what the wines reflect.

This Miraval Provence Rosé is the estate's finest rosé. This pale pink rosé boasts a fresh and vibrant bouquet of wild strawberries, raspberries, and white flowers. It offers a smooth and silky palate with a fine structure and beautiful mandarin and peach nuances. A lovely balance of acidity is achieved thanks to the altitude of the vineyards used in this Miraval Rosé. The finish is rounded and long, with a lively finish. The Miraval Provence Rosé makes a wonderful aperitif, but also pairs perfectly with lobster, shellfish, white pasta dishes, or a delicious salad.
