The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Tinazzi Ca' de' Rocchi Campo delle Rose Chiaretto di Bardolino 2025 is a fresh rosé from the Veneto region, made from 90% Corvina and 10% Rondinella. This Chiaretto comes from hillside vineyards in the Bardolino zone, near Lake Garda, where fruit, freshness, and easy drinkability are central. With 12.5% alcohol, low-temperature fermentation, and steel-tank aging, the wine remains light, vibrant, and brightly fruity.

Chiaretto di Bardolino comes from Veneto, from the area around Bardolino on the eastern side of Lake Garda.

• Location / Origin: The grapes come from suitable hillside vineyards in the Bardolino zone. This origin gives the wine its light rosé color, fresh fruit expression, and smooth style.

• Classification: Chiaretto di Bardolino has DOP status. This means the wine comes from an officially delimited production area with strict regulations regarding grapes, origin, and production.

• Region: The area around Lake Garda benefits from a mild climate and breezes coming off the water. This allows the Corvina and Rondinella grapes to ripen while the wine retains its fresh, vibrant character.

• Vineyard & harvest: The grapes are harvested around the end of September, with special attention paid to the balance between sugars and acids. This balance is important for a rosé that remains fruity without feeling heavy.

The vinification is focused on achieving a light color, fresh fruit, and an elegant rosé style.

• Pressing: The grapes are gently pressed immediately. This gives the wine its light pearly-pink color without excessive extraction from the skins.

• Fermentation: Fermentation takes place at 14–16 °C and lasts approximately 8–12 days. This cool fermentation helps to keep the aromas of red fruit, wild cherry, and floral notes bright.

• Aging: The wine is aged in stainless steel. This keeps the style pure, fresh, and direct, without any influence from oak.

• Technical balance: With 12.5% alcohol, 5.95 g/l acidity, and 3.5 g/l residual sugar, this Chiaretto remains fresh, fruity, and versatile as an aperitif or at the dinner table.

This rosé from Bardolino consists of 2 classic grape varieties from Veneto.

• 90% Corvina – Bardolino DOP: Corvina gives this Chiaretto its red fruit, wild cherry, fine freshness, and elegant structure.

• 10% Rondinella – Bardolino DOP: Rondinella complements the Corvina with softness, roundness, and extra juiciness on the palate.
