The Perrin family attaches great importance to traditional viticulture, combined with organic winemaking methods. A wine that perfectly embodies this: the Famille Perrin Luberon Rosé, which sparkles in the glass. Beautiful aromas combined with a playful and fruity flavor.

Luberon Rose from the high Provence

The Côte de Luberon lies in the southernmost tip of the Rhône wine region. Provence, famous for its fresh, cool, fruity rosé wines, begins just across the Durance River. The Luberon offers similar conditions for wine – it's also warm and sunny here, and high altitudes help preserve the freshness of the wines. The grapes for this Luberon Rosé from the Perrin family are therefore grown at an altitude of almost 400 meters, benefiting from temperate nights and balanced ripening. The wine also owes its unique character to the soil in which the 40-year-old vines grow. Impressive limestone cliffs rise up in the Luberon Natural Park; the soil is equally calcareous and clearly determines the minerality of the wines. The Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah grapes for the Famille Perrin Luberon Rose are grown in France's oldest wine region: the Rhône. The soil there is characterized by gravel, marl, loam, clay, and stone. Even ancient alluvial deposits from the Ice Age can be found. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are gently pressed with a pneumatic press. The must is then fermented for about two weeks in stainless steel tanks.

A delicious fruity Luberon Rosé

It begins with the color: the wine shimmers in the glass with a pale pink, slightly orange sheen. The bouquet opens with aromas of cherry blossom, fruity pomegranate, and strawberries. On the palate, the Cinsault, Syrah, and Grenache cuvée is downright playful, tasting as fruity as cherries, but not opulent, not sweet, just as slightly tart as the strawberry note. The fruitiness has a soft acidity and a fine minerality. Everything floats. But then comes the finish: long, creamy, and with a hint of banana.
