The Ventisquero GREY Pinot Noir is a jewel from the Leyda Valley, a region where morning mist lingers until midday, enveloping the vineyards in a cooling embrace. Once the sun breaks through, the contrast in temperature produces grapes of exceptional quality. This wine exudes a harmonious balance between vibrant fruit and subtle notes of French oak, resulting in a complex and refined character.

Ventisquero: A Tradition of Excellence

Founded in 1955 by the visionary Gonzalo Vial, Ventisquero is the result of a deep passion for wine and a family tradition of farming. Since 1998, Vina Ventisquero has established itself as a pioneer in sustainable wine production, with an unwavering commitment to quality and environmental stewardship. With vineyards spread across Chile's finest wine regions, including Coastal Maipo, Casablanca, Colchagua, Leyda, and Huasco (Atacama), Ventisquero offers a wide range of wines, from accessible everyday wines to the crème de la crème of Chilean wines. The grapes are carefully harvested between late March and early April, when they are at their aromatic peak. To ensure quality, the grapes are harvested at night, minimizing oxidation. After a seven-day cold maceration to extract the rich colors and aromas, the grapes are fermented in open tanks. A careful balance is maintained between the use of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks to preserve both complexity and freshness in the wine.
