An intense and full-bodied white wine from Sartori de Verona. That's the shortest way to describe this Marani. It has beautifully ripe flavors that meld beautifully on the palate.

The wide range of Sartori winery

In 1898, Pietro Sartori of Villa Maria purchased a vineyard with a small cellar centrally located in the Valpolicella region. Initially, his goal was to provide high-quality wine to his hotel guests. His son, Regolo, was the one who led the winery to significant growth. It wasn't until 1950 that he began operating internationally, but the wines are now available in many places around the world. The tradition and culture of Veronese wine are paramount. Sartori owns vineyards in all the well-known classico zones and produces a number of exceptional top wines from individual vineyards. Together with winemaker Franco Barnabei, they manage the grapes' growth in the vineyard, offering a wide range of wines, from classically aged to modern and youthful, and from refreshingly dry to rich and intense. The Sartori Marani is a balanced Italian wine made from the Garganega grape variety. The vines are planted in Veneto, where they are deeply rooted in limestone soils. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and brought to the winery as quickly as possible. Here, they are sorted and carefully separated. The grapes are dried for 40 days in large, ventilated rooms to help reduce water content and sugar concentration. After pressing, a short cold maceration follows. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks. After this, the Marani is aged on its fine lees for another 6 to 7 months.

The rich aromas of Sartori Marani

The Sartori Marani presents itself with a bright yellow color in the glass. The aroma offers rich, ripe fruit aromas and a hint of honey. The palate is opulent with mineral notes, lingering in a long, pleasant finish.
