The Pinot Grigio grape is widely planted in the Veneto region. However, the grapes for Lenotti Pinot Grigio receive preferential treatment, and you can taste it! Partly because Lenotti is known for using very little sulfites, the wine is crystal clear and very elegant.

Special wines from the Lenotti winery

Lenotti's exceptional wines are produced in northern Italy. The vineyards are located around Lake Garda, near the wine village of Bardolino. Founded in 1906, Lenotti has enjoyed an excellent reputation for local wines ever since. Innovation is a key element at the winery, and in 2005 they completely renovated and modernized the vinification process, barrel storage, and bottling facility. This allowed Giancarlo Lenotti (father of the family and oenologist) to use significantly lower amounts of sulfites in the bottling facility. The positive result is that the wines retain their original aromas right through to the glass. The winemaker owns a large number of its own vineyards and places a high value on quality. Besides conventional wines, Lenotti also produces well-known top wines from Veneto, such as Ripasso and Amarone. For his Pinot Grigio, Lenotti planted the grapes north of Lake Garda. Because the harvest is earlier, the wine has a drier character than its French namesake Pinot Gris from Alsace. In Veneto, these are dry, lively, and understated wines. Lenotti's Pinot Grigio is a pale yellow wine with an exotic fruit aroma. This is all evident in the aroma and taste of this dry, fresh, and balanced wine with good, elegant acidity.
