This renowned, bright red Lenotti Bardolino is one of Italy's classics. A good Bardolino is always welcome, and the grapes for this beautiful Lenotti red wine are grown on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. There, the grapes receive plenty of sunshine and a fresh breeze from Lake Garda, ideal for developing a classy Bardolino. The crisp acidity and red fruit in this wine make it a true all-rounder, suitable for many occasions. This Lenotti Bordoline has even been awarded a gold medal. So definitely worth a try!

The old Lenotti winery

Lenotti Winery was founded in 1906 by the Lenotti family. Initially, they focused on the production and sale of barrel-aged wine. Later, they transitioned to producing quality wines exclusively bottled. Innovation is a key element at the winery, and in 2005, they completely renovated and modernized the vinification process, barrel storage, and bottling facility. This allowed Giancarlo Lenotti (father of the family and oenologist) to use significantly lower amounts of sulfites in the bottling facility. The positive result is that the wines retain their original aromas right through to the glass. Try it yourself: open a Lenotti wine and pour it directly into a glass; you'll be amazed by the array of aromas.

What does Lenotti Bardolino Classico taste like?

This red wine comes from the hilly region on the eastern side of Lake Garda, surrounding the villages of Bardolino, Lazise, Cavaion, and Garda. The soil where the grapes are grown is gravelly and originally moraine (extensions of an Ice Age glacier). This ultimately results in an accessible and smooth red wine. The aroma is fresh with abundant red fruit and a touch of earthy notes. This Lenotti Bardolino Classico should be enjoyed slightly chilled, as it is very soft, fruity, and has a rounded finish. Beautiful flavors of raspberries, ripe cherries, and red acidity are easily discernible in this red wine. The finish of this Lenotti Bardolino Classico is smooth and very soft, which is very pleasant!
