This refreshing blend is the result of decades of experience at the Cielo winery. Founded in 1908, it was founded by Giovanni, a stone's throw from the legendary castle of Romeo and Juliet. He was captivated by the beauty of this medieval building and wanted to translate that charm into exquisite wine. His son and grandsons ensured that the Cielo winery grew and grew, eventually becoming a leading winery throughout Italy. The fourth generation, Luca and Pierpaolo, are entirely responsible for the international reputation that Cielo winery currently enjoys.

The vineyards of Cielo

Over a century of experience has built up a vast vineyard estate for this Italian winery. They boast over 3,000 hectares of stunning vineyards. These are primarily located south of the medium-sized city of Vicenza. Cielo's vineyards are also beautifully situated in the provinces of Padua and Verona. Furthermore, the enormous diversity within Cielo's range is striking. Not only do indigenous grape varieties hold a prominent place within Cielo, but international classics also play a significant role. The climate and terroir are particularly well-suited to growing Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
