A new masterpiece from the paradise of Italian wines: Piedmont. This dazzling region is a showcase for exquisite wines. The Barolo, in particular, is a standout. However, with this Cascina Valle Asinari Barbera d'Asti, you'll discover a completely different side of the former Kingdom of Piedmont; one that is just as beautiful and impressive.
The Piedmontese wines of Borgogne
Cascina Valle Asinari Barbera d'Asti is produced at the Cascina Valle Asinari estate, located in San Marzano Oliveto, near Asti. Since 2016, this estate has been owned by the giant of Italian wine, Borgogno. This winery, active since 1761, has a very impressive track record. Its origins lie in the Barolo region, but it is now proving itself to be far from a one-trick pony. The vineyards, partly located in the renowned commune of Nizza Monferrato, are part of the Asti classification. Borgogno's 15 hectares are among the finest of their kind. The Barbera grapes are harvested and processed under strict supervision. Borgogno aims to produce the best Barbera d'Asti with Cascina Valle Asinari Barbera d'Asti. It also showcases the strength of Piedmontese wines. It is much more than just Barolo. This has also resulted in the DOCG classification, which Barbera d'Asti has held since 2008.Impressions of Cascina Valle Asinari Barbera d'Asti
