The Leth Zweigelt Rosé is a refreshing and lively wine perfect for any occasion. Made from the Zweigelt grape, which thrives in Austria's Wagram region, this wine is the result of the Leth family's passion and dedication to producing quality wines. An ideal rosé for the terrace or as an aperitif.

The family business Leth

In the heart of the Wagram wine region lies the renowned Leth winery. This area is known for its loess slopes, ideal for viticulture. And that's precisely where the Leth family loves to plant their grapes. They do this in the most natural way possible. It's a proud family business and has received several awards. They continually challenge themselves to innovate and produce the highest quality wines possible. The most important factor for this Zweigelt Rosé is the quality of the grapes. The grapes grow on loess and sandy-gravel soils, where they develop their wonderful characteristics. When the grapes reach optimal ripeness, the ripe and healthy Zweigelt grapes are carefully harvested. After harvesting, they are immediately taken to the winery and pressed. The resulting juice is allowed to settle for 12 hours. The clear juice undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After several weeks of fermentation, the wine is aged and clarified to impart a fresh and fruity character. This is done by allowing the wine to rest and allow the dead yeast cells and other solids to settle. The wine is then transferred to a new tank to mature and stabilize before bottling.
