Creating Portillo Sauvignon Blanc is a harmonious blend of modern and traditional winemaking techniques. Maturation in stainless steel tanks and hand-sorting of the grapes ensure unparalleled quality. The ancient vines, which proudly adorn the highlands, give the wine a freshness and intensity rarely found. Behind this masterful wine is Salentein, the brainchild of Dutch businessman Mijndert Pon, founded in 1996. The vineyard's architecture itself is a work of art—designed in the shape of a cross, with a boutique winery in each wing.
