The 2019 vintage in Argentina is considered exceptional with a rating of 95. The wines from this year are generally approachable early and of excellent quality.

One of the top wines from the beautiful Argentinian winery Andeluna. A special vineyard is selected for this Altitud Chardonnay, and these grapes receive our full attention! The vineyard is heavily pruned, but the Chardonnay grapes harvested are priceless! This Altitud Chardonnay is also aged for an impressive 12 months in oak barrels, making it powerful and concentrated.

Andeluna vineyards that touch the sky

Argentinian businessman H. Ward Lay laid the foundation stone for Andeluna in 2003, also known as "the vineyard that touches the sky." As his father, the founder and CEO of Pesico, he already played a significant role in the Argentinian beverage industry. H. Ward Lay's vision was to reach the pinnacle of Argentinian wineries with his collection of premium wines. Andeluna Cellars is located at an altitude of 1,300 meters in Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes. The modernly equipped winery is surrounded by its own vineyards – 70 hectares in total. Silvio Alberto, winemaker advisor, is none other than "Flying Winemaker" Michel Rolland. His vision appears to have worked; the wines have a reputation for being simply superb!

Wines with a special character

As diverse as Andeluna's wines are, they all possess a unique character, are impressive, and are delicious. Thanks in no small part to the meticulous care and selection involved in their production, the entire Reserve and Grand Reserve range enjoys a high reputation worldwide. This expressive Chardonnay displays a vibrant golden yellow in the glass with a delicate green sheen. The nose offers intense aromas of tropical fruit and vanilla, full-bodied, mineral, dense, and complex. The palate is mildly dry and thick-bodied with abundant notes of tropical fruit, apricots, toast, and vanilla. A refined Chardonnay and a perfect companion.
