Burmester White Port is a beautiful, delicate white port. The grapes for this white port grow on hills at an altitude of 600 meters, allowing them to soak up plenty of sunshine and enjoy the coolness of the night. Due to the altitude, all grapes are harvested by hand at precisely the right time. The grapes are planted in granite-covered soil, which gives the grapes their unique character. This Burmester White Port is made from wines from different vintages, allowing for consistent quality year after year. Some of these wines are even aged in oak barrels at least three years old, allowing for subtle oak notes to be present in the port wine.
