The stopper is the central sealing point of the Coravin Sparkling system and is specially designed to rebuild and then maintain pressure in an opened bottle of sparkling wine.

Preservation of bubbles: After placing the stopper on the bottle, use the Coravin Sparkling Charger to add pure CO₂. This restores the natural pressure in the bottle.

Preserve for at least 4 weeks: In combination with the complete Coravin Sparkling system, taste and effervescence are preserved for at least 4 weeks, according to Coravin.

Universal size: The stopper fits standard sparkling wine bottles and is suitable for sizes up to and including magnums.
The stopper is designed to be attached quickly and securely to an opened bottle.

Placement: Lift the locking lever completely up and place the stopper over the bottle neck.

Locking: Push the lever all the way down so that the internal clamps grip firmly around the edge of the bottle.

Pressurizing: Place the Coravin Sparkling Charger on top of the stopper and add CO₂ until the bottle is at the correct pressure.

Pouring again: Unlock the stopper when you want to pour another glass, then simply repeat the process.
This allows you to open several sparkling wines during a dinner, tasting, or festive occasion without having to finish every bottle on the same day.
