Rockpool is a unique wine series from Lomond Winery. No two wines are alike, thanks to the winemaker's continuous experimentation and focus on new winemaking techniques. This consistently results in a new creation. Lomond is located in the small town of Gansbaai in the Western Cape of South Africa. The winery has received numerous awards for its innovative approach. The wines are known for their complexity and character, always reflecting the beautiful terroir. The cool climate allows the grapes to ripen evenly. The Chardonnay grapes come from a beautiful vineyard in Stellenbosch. Winemaker Hannes Mayers has been harvesting the finest grapes here in recent years. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and chilled overnight to preserve their freshness. In the winery, a strict selection process takes place, extracting only the finest juice from the grapes. The result is a characteristic Chardonnay.
