Valdelagunde wines are sourced from Bodegas Escudero, a family with a passion for winemaking. The Escudero family now owns over 32 hectares of vineyards, primarily planted with Verdejo grapes. Bodegas Escudero is located in the beautiful village of La Seca, in the heart of the Rueda region. With its ultra-modern winery and by maximizing organic practices, Bodegas Escudero has become a true phenomenon in the Rueda region. And with good reason, given the top-notch wines they produce.

The entire harvest is done manually, exclusively at night. The cool nighttime temperatures preserve the quality of the grapes, minimizing damage to the grapes during transport. The pressing is meticulously done to ensure only the finest juice is used for this Valdelagunde. After vinification, this Valdelagunde Rueda Verdejo is aged in bottle for several months in Pedro Escudero's cellars, after which the winemaker will release this top-notch wine!

The aroma is complex and fresh, with lovely hints of white fruit like pear and wild peach, and subtle hints of citrus. On the palate, this Valdelagunde Rueda Verdejo offers rich notes of wild peach, apple, ripe pear, citrus fruit, and a touch of anise. The finish is refreshing and full-bodied.
