The vineyards of Sabino Oak Aged Tempranillo

The vineyards, full of Tempranillo grapes, are located in Castilla La Mancha. In terms of surface area, this is the largest wine region in Spain. Quality varies from region to region. However, Sabino's Tempranillo grapes are grown on the best soil La Mancha has to offer. Spread across over 100 hectares, the grapes bask in the glorious Spanish sun. After harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery, located much further north in the renowned La Rioja region. At the winery, the grapes are fermented and aged in 225-liter American oak barrels. This gives Sabino Oak Aged Tempranillo its distinctive character.
