As the crown jewel of Bodegas Faustino, Portia Winery established itself in the prestigious Ribera del Duero wine region in the 1990s. Portia's Refined Verdejo from Rueda

In addition to their signature red wines, Portia also produces a stunningly pure white wine from the Rueda region. Here, at an altitude of 600 meters, the Verdejo grapes thrive. The ancient vines, with their deep roots, draw nutrients from a soil rich in limestone, gravel, and clay. Cooling ocean breezes preserve the freshness and minerality of the grapes, which are carefully hand-picked at peak ripeness and brought to Portia's state-of-the-art winery.

This wine is pure enjoyment. From the moment the bottle is opened, it promises a rich and refined experience. In the glass, the Portia Verdejo Rueda shines bright yellow with green hues. The nose is seduced by aromas of apple, pear, lime, and gooseberry. These vibrant aromas are reflected in the palate, which offers a refined, slightly dry sensation on the tongue. Notes of green apple, passion fruit, and lime zest are complemented by mineral notes and green herbs. This Verdejo is more than just a wine; it rightfully deserves Grand Cru status!
