This soil condition has two important properties: good drainage and water retention. It allows the soil to drain well, preventing excess moisture from stagnating, while simultaneously retaining water to provide moisture to the vines. D'Origen wines, including Can Bas D'Origen P5 Muscat de Gra Petit, are young, varietal wines from single vineyards.
