This is all thanks to Spaniard Juan de Porcioles, who founded the Costers del Sio winery in 1992. It is located in the tiny village of Balaguer in the Spanish province of Catalonia. The old vineyard of Costers Del Sio

This winery boasts a remarkable number of vineyards in northern Spain. A total of 71 hectares are dedicated to the cultivation of both indigenous and international grape varieties. For this Bosc Silver Costers del Sio, they use two signature grape varieties: Garnacha and Tempranillo. The grapes are harvested at night, under the strict supervision of Costers del Sio's talented winemaker. Harvesting at night preserves the impressive aromas of the Garnacha and Tempranillo grapes. After fermentation, Bosc Silver Costers del Sio is aged for an impressive nine months in both American and French oak barrels.
