An ultimate thirst-quencher from the Rueda region, where Verdejo is treated like royalty. Nearly 90% of the 13,000 hectares of vineyards are planted with this all-rounder. Rueda wines are particularly popular in northwest Europe. This is remarkable, considering that half a century ago, this region played no role at all in Spanish winemaking. Since the early 1980s, Rueda's reputation has been growing, thanks in part to major Spanish wineries like Torres and Marqués de Riscal.

The vineyards of Anarian Verdejo

This beautiful white wine from Spain is the result of the hard work of the Escudera family. For generations, they have been making wine in the picturesque La Seca, located in the heart of the Rueda region. For several years now, the newest generation has been at the helm. They wanted to develop a Verdejo that would be dazzling and conquer the world. We can safely say that they have succeeded with Anarian Verdejo. The vineyards full of Verdejo grapes are situated at an altitude of no less than 750 meters. At this altitude, the temperature difference between day and night is enormous. This is entirely beneficial to the quality of the Verdejo. The yield from the vines is low, but what comes from it is of incredible quality.
