The vineyards of Nespolino
Founded in 1929, Poderi dal Nespoli is one of the most historic wineries in Emilia Romagna. Located about 20 kilometers from Forlì, it is surrounded by 30 hectares of vineyards. Today, as in the past, the winery is managed by the Ravaioli family. Now in the third and fourth generations, Fabio Ravaioli and his cousin Celita currently run the estate. The two are dedicated to the local Sangiovese grape and have been recognized with numerous awards for years. The location of the vineyards and the valley's geography contribute to a microclimate that is particularly ideal for viticulture. The winery prioritizes respect for the environment, including the reuse of water and heat. The combination of the light and aromatic Trebbiano with the rich Chardonnay is ideal. It produces a beautiful and flavorful wine. The Trebbiano grape is widely planted in Italy, not only in Tuscany, but also around Lake Garda, or in this case, in the Romagna region. The grapes are planted in light clay soils with a high sand content, resulting in a light and finely textured wine. In recent years, the demand for lighter Chardonnay wines has grown. This is reflected in this pleasant white blend of Trebbiano and Chardonnay.
