Bolla Wines: A Legendary Heritage

Bolla, one of the pioneers of Amarone wines, was founded in 1893 by Abele Bolla in picturesque northern Italy, in the Veneto region. Besides running a cozy family inn, Abele had the vision to offer his guests more than just a place to stay. His wines, which he proudly served, quickly became a hit. Driven by this success, the family decided to dedicate themselves entirely to the art of winemaking. More than a century later, Bolla is synonymous with world-class wines, with a rich selection that reflects the unique flavors of the Veneto region. Christian Zulian, Bolla's passionate oenologist since 2015, has masterfully captured the essence of Bolla's quality, inspired by childhood memories of vineyard visits with his grandfather.

The Taste Experience of Bolla Soave Classico Retro

The Retro Soave has undergone "Sur Lie" aging, meaning it has matured on its lees. After careful hand-harvesting, the grapes are briefly macerated at low temperatures. After fermentation, the wine remains in contact with the yeast cells until bottling at the end of the year. In the glass, the Bolla Soave reveals a pale yellow hue, with a refined aroma of freshness, flowers, exotic fruit, and a hint of honey. The palate is soft, harmonious, and full of elegance. This wine offers unparalleled value and is an excellent choice as an aperitif, with white meat, and risotto. A true celebration of Italian wine expertise.
