The Morena Bianca Lugana comes from the southern shore of Lake Garda. The grapes are grown in the now-famous "Lugana" zone. Biscardo is a family-run winery that produces wines of high quality and personality. Thanks to longstanding relationships in the wine industry, they purchased vineyards for the Morena Bianca in exclusive locations a few years ago.

The Biscardo winery has been a family business since its founding in 1878. Back then, it was Terenzio who, with a passion for action and courage, built the winery. He is the grandfather of today's owners, Martino and Maurizio. Terenzio began expanding the small winery. He invested in innovative technology and recruited top consultants. He was able to continuously improve the quality of wines like the Morena Bianca Lugana. Thanks to these efforts, he succeeded in making Biscardo's products known worldwide. His two sons learned all the important aspects of the business under their father. Both are trained oenologists and winemakers with extensive expertise. They prove this with the Morena Bianca Lugana, which is of top quality in both taste and quality. The two quickly recognized the potential of the Lugana region. Therefore, a few years ago, they didn't miss the opportunity to acquire promising properties. This is how Morena Bianca Lugana was born. It's striking that the owners are constantly involved in the wine's production. For example, in the vineyard, monitoring the ripening and care of the grapes. But also in the winery, involved in the production of Morena Bianca Lugana. The Morena Bianca Lugana grapes grow on a clayey, limestone-covered soil dating back to the time when the entire area was covered by Alpine glaciers. This gives the wine a very fine minerality and full body. The grape yield per hectare is naturally reduced, thus ensuring continued quality. The grapes are harvested and selected in the early morning hours. After selection, the 20-day fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. After this is complete, the Morena Bianca Lugana matures in stainless steel tanks for another five months before being bottled.

The color of this Lugana is straw-yellow with green hues, gradually turning gold as the wine ages.
