The beautiful vineyards of Belingard

Chateau Belingard is situated on the beautiful hills of the left bank of the Dordogne Valley. The vines grow in clay, limestone, and gravel soils, enjoying a temperate climate. The De Bosredon family uses various grape varieties, including Sauvignon, Semillon, and Muscadelle for their white wines, and Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec for their reds. Today, Laurent is at the helm, combining age-old traditions with the latest techniques to produce exquisite wines. The wines are balanced, fresh, and all full of character. In the vineyard, this family places great value on respect for the environment, vine cultivation, and nature. The blend consists of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle grapes. The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness. After harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery where they are pressed. Fermentation takes place shortly thereafter at a controlled temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. Finally, the wine is left to age on its lees for several months, adding complexity to the final wine.

What does Chateau Belingard Bergerac White taste like?

Bergerac Blanc is a light straw yellow in the glass with occasional green hues. The aroma reveals lovely Sauvignon Blanc notes of mint, green apple, grapefruit, and citrus. The palate complements this beautifully with fresh white fruit, lime, and grapefruit. A lovely mineral finish continues on the palate. These notes carry through to a pleasantly refreshing finish.
