The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Torres Winery is a household name throughout the wine world. This originally Spanish winery has its roots in Catalunya, in northern Spain. The winery was founded in 1870 by Miguel Torres, who studied oenology in France. It is thanks to him that various French grape varieties have gained a foothold in Spanish viticulture. However, Torres's dreams were even grander. More than a hundred years later, the winery expanded overseas. In 1979, the first vines were planted in Chile. Now, over 50 years later, Miguel Torres Chile is the Chilean equivalent of Torres in Spain: a true pioneer in the winemaking of this South American country.

Las Mulas is the newest wine series from Miguel Torres Chile. They represent purity and purity, as well as the balance between perfect wines and sustainability. The vineyards for Las Mulas Sauvignon Blanc are located in the Central Valley. In central Chile, the climate is excellent for viticulture. The vineyards for Sauvignon Blanc are situated slightly towards the ocean, which preserves the freshness of the grapes. After the harvest, which takes place in March, the grapes undergo low-temperature fermentation. All this ensures that Las Mulas Sauvignon Blanc is refreshing, invigorating, and extremely thirst-quenching.

As soon as the cap pops on this bottle of Chilean white wine, the enjoyment begins. A distinct Sauvignon Blanc character is evident in both the aroma and the taste. Fresh notes of tropical fruit and citrus peel form the foundation of Las Mulas Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is refreshing on the palate, with a delicate acidity on the tongue. The pure character of Las Mulas Sauvignon Blanc lends itself perfectly to an aperitif.

De jaargang 2023 in Chili was gunstig voor witte wijnen, met ideale omstandigheden die resulteerden in frisse en aromatische druiven. De wijnen van dit jaar kenmerken zich door hun levendige zuurgraad en expressieve fruitigheid.

More about Torres Chili

Buy or order Torres Chile wine The story of this Chilean winery begins, surprisingly enough, in Spain at the end of the 19th century. Torres Senior, a Spanish winemaker, had completed his training in France and planted the first vineyards in Penedes, northeastern Spain.
