Riesling is known for its high natural acidity and aromatic precision.
The harvest is selective, followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place cool in stainless steel tanks, and the wine then ages on its fine lees. The wine is vegan and sealed with a screw cap.
Character and style
On the nose, you'll find lemon and lime, grassy notes, wet stone, honey, and peach. On the palate, balance is created by a fine amount of residual sugar against refined acidity. Here, too, lime, nectarine, wet stone, and grass return. The combination of low alcohol and present residual sweetness makes the wine lively and approachable.
Serve around 8–10 °C to optimally experience freshness and aromatic tension.

The history of Weingut Allendorf began in 1773 with Philipp Anton Allendorf. The estate is still family-owned and, with approximately 75 hectares, is the largest family winery in the Rheingau. About 100 employees work in the vineyard and cellar. The wines are exported worldwide and are known for their clear terroir expression.
