Tommasi Winery isn't just any winery. In our opinion, it's one of the founders of the modern-day success of Veneto wines. It all began with Giacomo Tommasi, grandfather of the current owner. In the early 20th century, in 1902, he started with a small vineyard. Over time, Tommasi has become one of the most prominent wineries in Veneto and the Valpolicella region. Its fame in the latter region is particularly strong for its exquisite Amarone wines. In Valpolicella, Tommasi has an impressive 105 hectares of vineyards. This is also where the grapes for Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio come from. At the prestigious Le Rosse vineyard, the quintessential Italian Pinot Grigio grapes are grown with great pleasure. Tommasi's winemaker is a true talent and determines when the grapes are harvested. This takes place early in the morning and entirely by hand.
