This beautiful Pinot Grigio comes from the heart of Veneto, where Pasqua cultivates these white grapes in a unique location. Pinot Grigio grows in vineyards in the Adige River Valley in Trentino, a region north of Veneto. Excellent, fresh wines from the aromatic Pinot Grigio, like this Pasqua, are made primarily in the north and northeast of Italy. The Pasqua family's love for the Italian Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie has been passed down from father to son, and today it remains a well-known family winery.

The unique Pinot Grigio vineyard in Delle Venezie

The unique vineyard is located near the Adige River in Trentino, a region north of Veneto. The river provides the vines with abundant nutrients and coolness. Pinot Grigio needs this, as it ripens very quickly and needs the natural cooling to slow its growth. The soil in which the vines grow in Delle Venezie consists of a high proportion of limestone, gravel, and some white clay, allowing the vines to absorb a significant amount of nutrients. The end result is a surprisingly full, powerful harvest that the Pasqua family is proud of.

Once the Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie grapes are ripe, the winemaker decides when to harvest them. This is a crucial process, as they must determine the perfect day. Harvesting begins early in the morning to protect the grapes during transport. While the grapes are dormant, the risk of bruising during transport is minimized. The Pinot Grigio grapes also retain their freshness, a key priority for the Pasqua family. After rigorous selection, the grapes are inspected again to ensure only the finest bunches are pressed. The aroma reveals a beautiful bouquet of fresh white fruit, citrus peel, and a hint of passion fruit and lychee. The palate is enchanting, delightfully crisp and dry with ample ripe flavors of yellow and white fruit complemented by lime and freshly mown grass. A true gem in our range!
