A Pinot Grigio Rosé from Italy

Pinot Grigio is synonymous with Italian wine culture. And that's not surprising; this white wine has all the makings of a crowd-pleaser. But we're talking about a white grape for, well, white wines. So how is it that this Veneto Rosé from Italy is made from the Pinot Grigio grape? Thanks to the fermentation process, the skins, seeds, and stems are also fermented. These give the white wine a light pink color, or a slight "blush." A technique Milani has perfected and applied perfectly to Milani Pinot Grigio Rosé. Milani Winery boasts an impressive track record. It all began in 1985, when several winegrowers in Veneto began collaborating. Through intensive collaboration, economies of scale emerged, freeing up time and money to further improve their wines. As a result, Milani's wines continued to improve, and the company grew ever larger. It now comprises over 200 winegrowers who share a common vision: to produce the finest Veneto wines.
